Nearest Towns: Arniston and Bredasdorp Region: Overberg De Mond Cottage This self-catering cottage is situated between milkwoods and coastal fynbos near the entrance to the reserve, and provides views of the Heuningnes estuary and sea. Containing three bedrooms, it has two single beds in each room. It can either be used as a base from which to explore the surrounding area, including the day hikes on the reserve, or as a base to do some fishing and relaxing. It has electricity, hot water and a shower. Braai facilities are available in a boma. Bathroom: Warm/cold water available; shower Kitchen: Equipped with 4-plate stove and oven, fridge, toaster and kettle Cutlery and crockery: Yes Linen: Bring own towels but bedding is provided. Drinking water: Rainwater is used for drinking only. Swimming: In the Heuningnes River or the sea Firewood for sale: No Shop on site: No Help us protect nature: no pets, fire arms, picking of flowers or collection of seeds allowed, no fishing without a permit, fires only in designated areas.
