Region: Klein Karoo All camping sites are in Gamkaskloof (also known as 'Die Hel') which is an isolated valley lying in the Swartberg mountains. For more than a century it was home to a self-sufficient farming community. Visitors can experience its unique cultural heritage while staying over in one of the restored houses, or camping. Swimming is possible in the Gamka River, while hiking, fishing and mountain biking options are numerous.
